About Me
Hello, I’m Lareena. I am a warm Clinical Psychologist with a special interest in the psychology of eating, weight, movement, & body image.
I have worked in private practice, NGO, and health settings over 15 years. I am passionate about helping people to become the healthiest versions of themselves while becoming free from the harmful culture of dieting.
My particular interest is in supporting clients living in larger bodies, including those with Binge Eating Disorder and atypical Anorexia, although many of my clients are facing challenges around their eating that do not meet a diagnostic category.
I am an ANZAED Credentialed Eating Disorder clinician. I have also completed additional training in the assessment and management of ADHD.
I am passionately interested in the complex relationship between neurodiversity and eating and weight difficulties, and am very privileged to continue learning more and more about this from the individuals I support.
